Slipknot have two major upcoming tours which are to promote their new album "All Hope is Gone". The Mayhem Festival was held during July and August 2008 and is being held in Canada and the United States. In July the festival was being held in Auburn in Washington, Marysville, Mountain View, Devore, Fresno and Chula Vista in California, Phoenix in Arizona, Albuquerque in New Mexico, Englewood in Colorado, Bonner Springs in Kansas, Maryland Heights in Missouri, Dallas, Selma and Houston in Texas, Tampa and West Palm Beach in Florida. In August the festival was being held in Virginia Beach and Bristow in Virginia, Burgettstown and Scranton in Pennsylvania, Mansfield in Massachusetts, Uniondale and Darien Lake in New York, Toronto in Ontario, Clarkston in Michigan, Tinley Park in Illinois, Atlanta in Georgia, Noblesville in Indiana, Camden in New Jersey and Hartford in Connecticut.

The All Hope is Gone World Tour is being held in Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, New Zealand and United States. Most of the Canadian and American concerts are being played in the Mayhem Festival. The Japanese part of the tour is being held in Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka and Sendai. The Australian/New Zealand part of the tour is being held in Auckland in New Zealand and Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in Australia. The European part of the tour is being held in Tev Aviv in Israel, Moscow in Russia, Helsinki and Tampere in Finland, Oslo in Norway, Stockholm in Sweden, Copenhagen in Denmark, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Offenbach, Stuttgart, Antwerp and Munich in Germany, Winterthur in Switzerland, Milan in Italy, Amsterdam in Netherlands, Paris in France, Vienna in Austria, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield in England, Cardiff in Wales, Glasgow in Scotland and Luxembourg in Luxembourg.

The Iowa album tour was held during the Reading Festival in England and Ozzfest in America but some concert dates were postponed due to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. They also toured with American Rock Band System of a Down to promote this album.

The Vol.3 (The Subliminal Verses) tour was held during Ozzfest (held in America), the Download festival (held in England) and the Jagermeister Music tour (held in America).

Injuries

On the opening day of the Mayhem Festival in Auburn, Washington Sid Wilson broke both of his heels when he jumped from an elevaed area of the stage and landed badly. He continued with the festival in a wheelchair. Joey Jordison also broke he ankle on this tour however he isn't able to play with the band for the rest of the European tour.

Sid Wilson is also known to fight on stage while performing and light himself on fire and throw himself into the crowd. He calls this the "Human Inferno".




This video is a recording from Kiss FM where Corey and James are performing the song acustically. This is rarely performed live because the band feels that the song is too slow to fit in with the rest of their set.
